IKEA HACK – Moon Coffee Table

Questo prototipo ci è stato commissionato da un committente che cercava una soluzione di illuminazione diffusa ma molto originale. L’idea di inserire l’illuminazione direttamente nel tavolo è stata accolta fin da subito.
Il problema principale era la presenza dei fili di collegamento alle rete elettrica. Abbiamo optato per una batteria integrata in ogni tavolo.
In questo modo i tavolini possono essere spostati ed adoperati anche all’esterno, poiché posseggono una notevole autonomia di carica, sarà necessario collegarli alla rete elettrica solo dopo una giornata intera di lavoro.
Il cuore del prototipo è un CI Attiny85.
Ogni tavolo possiede una batteria integrata nella struttura ed un interruttore.
Alla fine della serata si collegano i tavoli ala rete elettrica e si ricaricano le batterie.

This prototype we have been commissioned by a client who was looking for a solution to diffuse illumination but very original. The idea of including the lighting directly into the table was met immediately. The main problem was the presence of the wires connecting to the mains. We opted for a battery built into each table. In this way, the tables can be moved and used also outside, because they possess a remarkable power reserve, you will need to connect to the mains only after a full day of work. The heart of the prototype is a CI ATtiny85. Each table has a built-in battery in the structure and a switch. At the end of the evening connecting the tables wing grid and recharge the batteries.
